About Penda Kusoma Initiative

Penda Kusoma Initiative is a project based Turkana/Loropio Village, which translate to “Love to
Learn” in Swahili. The project is designed to empower women, by equipping them with sewing skills that can be used for economic development and self-reliance.
The main goal of the Penda Kusoma Initiative is to provide training in tailoring to enhance economic opportunities and independence for Women of Loropio Village. By learning these skills, Women can create their own clothing items, start small businesses, and improve their financial stability.
The Penda Kusoma project is a transformative initiative, helping women in Loropio Village gain valuable skills and economic opportunities through sewing. By focusing on empowerment, sustainability, and community engagement, the project offers a path towards a brighter future for many in the village
